ALLNUTRITION - L-CARNI is an orange-flavoured liquid dietary supplement enriched with green tea extract and vitamins. Vitamin B6 and thiamine contribute to maintaining correct energy metabolism.

What is L-carnitine?

L-carnitine is a vitamin-like substance with an important physiological role, naturally occurring in foods of animal origin and synthesized in the human body from the amino acids lysine and methionine. It is present primarily in muscle tissue and the heart, as well as in nervous tissue.

During exercise, the body primarily draws energy from unnecessary fat tissue and effectively burns even the most resistant fat. It is L-carnitine which takes part in the metabolism of lipids, acting as a specific transporter of long-chain fatty acids to the cell mitochondria, thus enabling their combustion and energy production.

In addition, carnitine ensures an appropriate ratio of acetyl-CoA to CoA in cells and exhibits antioxidant activity. The carnitine derivative acetyl carnitine is also a donor of acetyl groups for the synthesis of acetylcholine - an important neurotransmitter, and recent studies indicate that it also affects male fertility.

Green tea extract extract supports metabolism and contributes to fat oxidation. Green tea owes its slimming properties to catechins, in particular the substance epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). The catechins contained in green tea have a significant and multidirectional effect on the reduction of body fat.

Vitamin C positively influences the functioning of the immune system and is the best known antioxidant. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it plays a protective role in the body. Vitamin C also stimulates the production of collagen, which ensures the proper functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth.
